Nadya Dalvit-Saminskaya
was born in Moscow, receiving her first piano lessons at the age of 6 in the Beethoven Music School in Moscow in the class of Vassilissa Tutyshkina. While she was still at school she performed several times as a soloist with the “Musica Viva” chamber orchestra under its conductor Alexander Rudin. In 1998 she became a student at the Ippolitov-Ivanov Music College under Sergei Slepnev, graduating with an award in 2001. In 2002 she received a scholarship to study for a year at the Accademia di Musica città di Pinerolo as a student of Franco Scala. In 2007 she successfully graduated from the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music as a Master of piano (Ekaterina Derzhavina) as well as chamber music (Valery Samoletov). In 2011 she completed her studies with another Master Performance at Hochschule Luzern in the class of Konstantin Lifschitz.
In recent years chamber music in particular has become Nadya’s great passion. Since 2007 she has been a member of the S-ensemble piano quartet and since 2010 has played in duo with the German soprano Maria Bernius. She also performs regularly in different chamber music formations and as a soloist. Nadya plays a wide repertoire, from baroque to modern. Alongside her concert activity, which has brought her to Russia, Italy, France, Germany and Switzerland, she has an intense teaching schedule in Zurich and regularly organizes children’s concerts.
